Throughout history, when God has called people to special ministries, members of their community have commissioned them for the important work they are taking on. This Sunday at both services our congregation will commission the Stephen ministers and leaders. We will also welcome Jenny Aviet as a new Stephen's minister.

Join us on a Four Season Journey of Harmony and Joy
Look for our first offering on Sept. 28 & Oct. 5 at The Point.
Fall: Our focus will be on harmony with God.
Winter: We will explore harmony with self.
Spring: Our focus will turn to the earth.
Summer: We will strive to improve the health of our relationships
As we embark on this adventure as a community of faith, it is our prayer that we do it with a sense of wonder and joy. Questions? See Anne Wilde, stewardship ministry team leader.

First Week at St. Timothy's Preschool

Families attended an orientation on Tuesday night, and students began their year on Wednesday.
"Being chefs," "playing with puppets," "reading books," and "playing with friends" were what St. Timothy Preschool students said were some of their favorite things during their first days of preschool this week. Best wishes to the students, and teachers Janet and Kalpana for a great year! There is always room for more friends. See sttimothyspreschool.org.

Rehearsal Deanery Concert
On October 19th, our choir and instrumentalists will participate in the 2nd annual Deanery Concert at St. Mark's in Santa Clara at 3 pm.
Seven choirs from our local sister Churches will individually present choral music, and the event will culminate in a combined choir presentation involving all singers. St. Tim's hosted this event last year and it was awesome. Our musicians will be rehearsing for this event on Sundays at 10 am during the Point. Please contact Peter Sammel for more information.

Cherubs Corner
A green growing time has come to the cherubs corner in the North corner of the narthex. This season, children are invited to grow in prayer. Children can center themselves for worship tracing a labyrinth with their finger, finding a route through a maze or watching glitter in a bottle swirl while considering being still and knowing God. Check out the book shelf for illustrated versions of popular prayers, These activities were selected to welcome children into the worship space and help them enter into worship. Lets work together to keep the space neat and welcoming. If you have ideas on how to make the space more helpful please contact Holly McCullough
