A Note From Sue-Ellen and Ross Sue-Ellen and I would like thank the community for all of your support and help over the last couple of months.  It has been the most challenging time of our lives and we have needed all the help we could get! We are getting better and recovering more every day, having more time to shop and cook. And so at this time we would like to suspend the "helping hands" meal assistance program (except for those already signed up!).  We deeply appreciate the love and attention we have received and know that the prayers and good thoughts have been instrumental in our recovery. Blessings to the community at St. Timothy's and we praise God for the help and support you have so generously provided. Love, Ross and Sue-Ellen

Welcome St. Tim's New Preschool Teacher Kalpana Shakya  Kalpana has worked and studied at Mountain View Parent Nursery School and Google Preschool. She has a master's in Business Studies from Nepal, where she also taught math and science to elementary students. She earned her associate's degree in Child Development and site supervisor permit from Foothill College. She also has mentored and taught children individually both as an aide at Ventana School and as a caregiver. She lives in Mountain View with her husband and two daughters. Mondays 11 a.m. Calling All Gardeners!! If you like to putter around in the garden, this may be an opportunity for you. We are starting a gardening club to work on small projects around St. Tim's.  Currently we are meeting on Monday mornings at 11 a.m. for an hour or two but if there is enough interest we could explore other options.  Working club name is the St. Timothy's Lay Weeders. If you are interested, talk to Wyn Schuh or Kandace Klemba.

August 19, 2014 This Sunday at the Point Upcoming Events Contact Us This Sunday At    The Sammels Return from Sabbatical Sunday August 24th  Friday, August 22nd from 10am- noon St. Tim's Preschool Open House RSVP here (or call 650-967-4724) to attend St. Tim's Preschool's Meet the Teachers Open House.  You'll be able to talk with teachers, and meet enrolled families. We'll be doing another unique art project during our Welcome Day - something that will provide some much-needed shade to our beloved outdoor area. We hope preschool families can join us to help with the project! No skills are required, but please have your child wear clothes that can get dirty so they can participate in more messy art. This will be the first of many social events for preschool families! Come by and write prayers on the ribbons and hang them. We can visit and pray while working together.  The project will continue monthly as new prayers are added to the project. The ribbon colors will shift from the red and orange to the purples as we approach Advent, so it will take some time for this piece to come into being. Thank you to those who have helped already.
